Mrs. Terri Adams

Biography

Hi Geneva County!!  My name is Terri Adams and I am so excited to join the GCHS family for my 2nd year here, but my 4th year of teaching.  I was raised in Dothan, Alabama where I graduated from Dothan High School in 1992.  I went to Troy State University where I earned my bachelors in Business Administration.  I met my husband while in school and will celebrate 27 years of marriage in 2024.  We have 2 children. Our oldest son (24) is currently in grad school in Knoxville, TN studying for his doctorate in PT and our youngest daughter (21) is currently a senior in college in Mobile studying to be a worship leader. 

After college, I worked in the business industry for 20+ years before coming home to be with our children to finish middle and high school.  I started teaching as a second career because I love being with students and inspiring them to be successful.  My goal for this year would be to use my business industry knowledge and skills to help our students to be super successful preparing for college, workplace development and life after college.
