Biography

I grew up in Mobile, AL and graduated from Theodore High School in 1997.  After attending Troy University and majoring in History and Business Administration,  I worked for 2 years with the Adult Special Populations program at the YMCA of Metropolitan Mobile. In 2003 I decided to further my education and returned to Troy University where I received a Master's degree in Social Science Education.  After grad school, I returned to Mobile and my Alma Mater to begin my career as an educator.  I worked at Theodore High for 9 years teaching Modern World History and Journalism: Yearbook.  I coached Varsity Football, Softball, and was the Head Girls Track Coach. In 2015 I moved to Saraland High School for one year before returning to Theodore for two more years.    My family and I moved to Geneva County in the summer of 2018.  My wife, Scarlett, works for Encore Rehab and is the athletic trainer for all of Geneva County, my two boys Grayson (7th grade) who is now in GCMS and Will (5th grade), my twin girls Elizabeth and Sloan (3rd grade) all attend GCES. We also added our 2nd set of twins John Burke and Piper Rae.  I am extremely excited to enter into my 19th year of teaching.  I am currently the FACS Teacher, Scholar's Bowl, Art Club, and FCCLA Advisor.
