Mrs. Emily Richards

Biography

My name is Emily Richards. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Troy University and a Master's degree in the same field. I am highly qualified to teach mathematics at the secondary level, and I am also a National Certified STEM Educator. I am married to Gary Richards, and I live in Slocomb. We have three boys. Jasper is my oldest, and I am sure that you will hear plenty about all of his shenanigans during this school year. We also have another son, Luke, who was born December 20th, 2016, and we are sad to say that he was received into the arms of Jesus on Christmas Eve 2016. He had a rare genetic metabolic disorder. Our caboose baby is Barrett Cole, and he is a wild child and a real comedian around the right people!

This is my thirteenth year teaching, and it is my fifth year as a Geneva County Bulldog. My goal is for my students to have fun while they learn, and my specific goal for this year is that we all succeed in our STEM-enriched classroom.
